Would you mind if your parents blogged about you?

     My initial response to this question was “obviously I would mind.” But then, I thought about it a little. I think that like most things, there are pros and cons to either side. I also don’t think they would write anything too personal or embarrassing about me. And plus, there’s also the question of how many people would even see the blog. So, I don’t think I would actually care too much.      I actually had a habit of telling others about my family’s life myself. In a sense, I was blogging about my family too for some time. Most of the time, I would be complaining about them. Maybe I would complain about how they kept forgetting promises or how they kept trying to pry me off my computer to go and do some studying. I still complain about my family now, but not nearly to the same extent. What have you and your family accomplished together?

     My family and I don’t have a big list of accomplishments together. My parents themselves were very successful throughout their life, and I imagine they and their family have many accomplishments. But, I’ve never really done much. I just laze around and sit on the computer all day. But, that makes the few accomplishments I DO have much more memorable, one of which was my acceptance into Uni High.      To start off my journey of getting accepted into Uni, I think I have to go back to why my parents helped me so much in the first place. It started with my brother. They didn’t know that the SSAT was something to be studied for, so my brother went in without any practice and still got away with an alright score. But, when they realized they had to study for the SSAT, my brother supposedly didn’t deliver. My parents thought he was hopeless because he seemed to barely have studied at all, so they didn’t even let him take the test a second time.    ...
